3Not worth the money
By T. McGeorge
I really wanted to love this stroller. It met all of my needs. We live in an appartment with no storage so I wanted a stroller that only had one piece that would take us from newborn to toddler and would take the car seat without adding any other equiptment. My husband is also 6'5" and I am 5'4" so the stroller needed hight adjustment. This stroller met all my demands with the addition that it could be used facing out and in (towards the person pushing and also has the largest canopy and really can keep the sun off my son. I love this stroller for all of thoes reasons but it has some major faults that make it not worth the giganitc price tag. The breaking system on our stroller was broken on arrival. The adjustable handle broke after about 6 months use. I need to use this stroller every day as we are out all the time and don't have a car. It seems unreasonable that it should break after so little use. The next thing that broke was the latch that keeps the stroller from collapsing. It would begin to fold while my little guy was in it. He is 11% for hight and weight so he is not a large baby to say the least so it wasn't weight. After contacting the customer service center, I was told to bring the stroller to their authorized dealer (120 miles away) for evaluation. As we paid a fortune for the stroller, we made the round trip, only to find that they could do nothing and it would cost us half of what we paid for the stroller to get a new chasse. Having, by that time, only had the stroller for eleven months, I complained again and was sent a new chasse but this one is missing the latch to hold it closed. I was also told that should the stroller have failed a month later, Peg Perego would not have resolved the problem. We would have had to pay for a new stroller. As far as I am concerned, that is crap customer service, as well as crap equiptment. When I purchase a high end piece of equiptment, I expect a high quality product. I am a very careful person and take very good care of my things (I still have things I use daily from when I was in high school abet a bit worn but well loved and still functional)so the failures can't have been from misuse. I just can't see paying so much money and getting somthing that doesnt even last for a year. I was planning on using this for future children but don't think it will last that long. This stroller is not worth the money and I would not buy it again.

5LOVE IT!!!
By Marlys Brothers
I have been using this almost daily for the past 6 months and both my husband and I LOVE IT! We also bought the Primo Viaggio car seat and we find it so useful both going in and out of cars, airplane travel as well as when we are walking to the grocery store, or restaurants. (Turns out you don't need to use the base for the Primo Viaggio so it is great when traveling). I got a great deal on a new 2009 model in 2011 which has the bassinet which turns into the stroller seat so you don't have separate pieces (good for me since I live in a condo and have limited space).PRO'sBaby very comfortableWas able to use this for my baby from the time she was born (bassinet) and she still has plenty of room to growWell made frame, very solid (made in Italy)Great storage underneathLooks greatHigh quality fabric and seems to be holding up wellVery easy to push with one handLove that I can have my baby face me or awayDidn't need extra items to fasten car seatSo many things you can adjust (handlebar height and angle, stroller seat height, seat angle...)CON'sTricky to remember how to adjust everything, sometimes you forget how to do itWide when going through smaller restaurants/ storesHeavy when lifting into carEven when folded, it is still a bit bulkyOverall, I love it and enjoy getting out more with my baby because this stroller makes it so easy.

2Lasted a year
By Thomas C Baldwin
Buy this stroller only if are not going to need it after your baby turns one year old. It worked fine for the first 7 months, but then the frame started collapsing and squeaking. Peg Perego said that it could not be repaired (it was of course just outside of warranty period), and that the frame was most likely bent and had to be replaced for $360.A friend of ours was able to repair the frame, and confirmed that it was bent and that it was of very cheap and non-sturdy construction. Somehow, all these stroller review websites focus on features of the new stroller and don't tell you about product durability. We had it repaired, and it lasted another couple of weeks, and then started collapsing again.I have now given up and am looking for a replacement stroller. I am very disappointed, as I would have expected something that retails for $700 to last longer than a year. The reason why we got it in the first place was that bassinet seemed to sit higher than most other strollers of that class. (This is why my review score is 2 and not 1). Stokke offered a high bassinet option too, but was significantly more $$$. Yet, in retrospect, the high bassinet was not worth the price. Also, I am not at all sure that I would want to get a bassinet again if I have another baby. My baby had a severe spit up problem during the first 3 months - the period during which the bassinet would be used most heavily, and it would have been actually beneficial to have a semi-reclined back, like Orbit or any other cheaper models, instead of a flat bassinet.
