4Excellent stroller
By David reed
I took my time in buying a stroller. I typically don't buy Eddie Bauer stuff, but this particular unit is REALLY well built. The one thing I absolutely wanted was a stroller that could be opened with one hand with little difficulty. This one fits the bill. Locks tightly and securely in place when opened. The car seat latches to a very sturdy bar and you can actually pick the entire stroller up with the handle of the car seat. There is ZERO chance of the car seat being tipped out like some other brands (Evenflo). There is plenty of storage under neath for a large diaper bag. The wheels lock easily and well. The sun shades overlap very well and don't gap at all. One thing I found hard to find in a moderately price stroller that this one does...the stroller seat will lay horizontal. Almost every other brand at this price level has a locked reclining seat. There are only two things I have a beef with. The first is steering. Its kind of difficult to do one handed as it has a tendency to pick a direction and keep going unless you have really strong wrist muscles in one hand. Second is the car seat strap adjustment. The directions aren't very precise in how to adjust it, and it takes a good 5-10 minutes to adjust it, even if you're a pro. All in all, a very well priced stroller that I've been very pleased with.

4Good, safe product.

I bought this for our new born and most of the assembly was easy. I wish the instructions were slightly more detailed when it came to installing the base. Specifically, the base has a great feature to adjust the tilt of the chair by dropping down a grey piece on the base during installation. There is a passing mention of this feature that makes it quite easy to overlook. Our town sends a patrol car home, on request, to check the installation. I would definitely recommend getting your installation checked. The cop liked the features too and adjusted a few things for safety. In summary, a great product that continues the tradition of minimal instructions from manufacturers of children's items!

4Sturdy, easy to use, stroller should be washable
By 6sensesfeeling5
Got a can't-pass-it-up price on this system though Amazon before my daughter was born. She's been using the rear-facing car seat for almost a year now, and we haven't had any trouble with it. In cold winter air it does make quite a static-electricity mess of her hair, but that's hardly a safety issue. It's sturdy but not too heavy, easy to get in and out of the car, and the cover and top both remove for machine washing. I've washed both three or four times and they still look brand new. Do be careful to have the car seat handle in the proper position before lifting it. Ours is a bit wobbly and I think it's because it was lifted improperly a few times. The stroller isn't too heavy, opens and collapses in a blink, and slips in and out of my small car trunk easily. It is a little awkward to drive at first. Even now I tend to catch the tires on things when making a tight turn. But my daughter seems comfy in it, it's plenty roomy, the padded hand grips are comfortable and the three cup holders and basket are always handy. My main complaint about the stroller is that you can't remove the cover for washing. Or, at least you can't easily -- it isn't made to be removable and has fiberboard inserts that would be ruined if they ended up in the washer. Personally, I can't tolerate non-washable kids' stuff so I disassembled ours and the cover made it through the wash just fine (had to add some snaps to make the fiberboard pieces re-insertable), so one wonders why they couldn't have just made it this way to begin with. One star lost for the short-sightedness of any non-washable kid's item.
