Great Stroller, NOT so Great Carseat

UPPAbaby Cruz stroller is built well. Took it with us on travel and we really put it to the test. From the airport, to the car, to the mall, and everywhere in between the UPPAbaby proved to be worth every penny. It's lightweight and easy to get in and out of the car. In addition, the basket is huge and is easily accessible. It held our shopping bags, our diaper bag, and a gallon of water! Yes, all at the same time. Even with all that cargo we were still able to maneuver the stroller around with the baby in the carseat attached.The Maxi Cosi carseat is just average. It is way over priced and is not as light as expected. I did, however, like the Cozi-Dozi infant insert for smaller babies which made my petite baby comfortable in it. The sun canopy is a huge disappointment. It does not and can not stay fully extended which makes it completely useless. I was constantly covering the carseat with a blanket and struggling to keep it in place to shield my baby from the glare of the sun. I hope that Maxi-Cosi will correct this canopy issue. Lastly, the adapters look poorly made and its not easy to attach carseat to stroller.
